CULTURAL CIRCUIT ANDORRA LA VELLA

 Andorra la Vella

The first proposal is the Anella Verda, or  Green Ring of Andorra la Vella, a circular route in the mountains surrounding the capital, interpreting the valley’s agricultural and stock breeding transformation and the domain of the water.
We will continue through the Open Geology Museum, also known as the Roques al Carrer Museum, in the Central Park of Andorra la Vella, complemented by a cultural tour of the streets of the capital.
And finally, a tour of the  Church of Santa Coloma, outside and inside one of the oldest and most emblematic pre-Romanesque churches in the principality.

In the summer months, evening visits are organised which are staged by Don Francisco de Zamora, a judge of the Royal Audience of Barcelona from the end of the 18th century, which will take us back to the life of the people of Andorra at that time.

CASA D’ARENY-PLANDOLIT MUSEUM

 Ordino ( Ordino )

The house of Areny-Plandolit is one of the most emblematic museums in Andorra: it is the only example of a stately home in Andorra that has reached our days intact.

The Casa d’Areny-Plandolit is in the centre of the village of Ordino. The family owes its social position to Don Guillem d’Areny-Plandolit, an illustrious figure in the history of Andorra, and his activities related to the iron industry.

The original building dates back to the 12th century and has been refurbished several times. The tour takes us to 19th and 20th-century Andorra and shows us different objects unique and exclusive to this family, the only family with nobility titles in the principality at a time when luxuries and comforts did not exist in Andorra. The Casa d’Areny-Plandolit forms part of the Andorra Rural Habitat Circuit
