The International Club of Andorra celebrates its 25th anniversary

The International Club of Andorra, celebrated turning 25 with a Ball at El Castell in La Seu d'Urgell on the evening of the 18th of October. Present at this celebration was the Prime Minister of Andorra, Antoni Marti and the Honorary British Consul in Andorra, Fiona Dean. Marti highlighted the charitable events that the Club organises and that with time Andorra has become a multi-cultural society. He also mentioned the support from the government to embrace and make the most of this diversification. The President of the International Club, Simon Binsted, reminded those present of the difficulties that the Club faced in the early days of its creation (before the Constitution). Binsted also highlighted the "healthiness" of the Club with its over 500 members and requested more presence in the Andorran public arena.
