The Unicef Charity Market returns

Unicef Andorra has, once more this year, created a Encants market. This charitable initiative’s objective is to raise funds for one of the projects of the charity. Therefore, 100% of the money raised from sales will go to a project in Cameroon whose aim is to prevent AIDS amongst children and the youth of the country. The director of Unicef, Marta Alberch, has explained that the items for sale, all second hand, are donations from individuals and businesses, who collaborate regularly with this type of initiatives. The aim is to raise around 20.000 Euros, as in other editions, or even to surpass this amount. The Encants d’Unicef opened their doors yesterday at 6pm and will continue up until the 12th of December. It is situated on 26 Carrer de la Sardana in Andorra la Vella.
