Self employed workers increase by 7.3% in one year

The number of self-employed workers in September was 5.090 according to the figures of the CASS. This figure is a slight increase compared to August, when this was 5.083, but a 7.3% increase compared to September 2013, when the figure was 4.742. On the other hand, figures from the CASS show that the number of wage earners in September was 35.741, which is a 1% increase compared to the same period last year.

In fact, the number of self-employed has been on the increase since 2006, when there were 2.334, of particular importance being as of 2009. In five years, the number of self-employed people has practically doubled.
