Yesterday morning, “Fundació Actua Tech”, a new foundation to impulse technological projects and consolidate the country as a “smart country”, was presented to the public, Behind this project are the Govern, Andorra Telecom, FEDA and the Universitat d’Andorra. Its promoters have outlined the objectives and signaled what is the immediate strategy. The first two projects that they want to develop are: the creation of a large data base which will hold all the information of interest created by individuals, companies and institutions of the Principality; and, to define what is the country’s current mobility model, to then analise how it can be improved with new technologies and renewable energy. The promoters of the foundation are confident that they will have this model by next autumn to then be able to analise what improvements to implement.
