ANDORRA AND FRANCE COLLABORATE ON TASKS TO RESCUE 45 PEOPLE BLOCKED ON RN320

Andorran police and fire brigades, along with teams from the French Gendarmerie are recovering and evacuating vehicles, drivers and passengers that were blocked last night on the road between the RN320 and Croisade and Puymorens. In total, fifteen vehicles were caught as a result of strong wind, along with the snow blizzards that forced drivers to stop between Croisade and Puymorens. The prefecture of Ariège announced Wednesday night about this situation, asking the collaboration of the Andorran authorities, which housed 28 people in Pas de la Casa, the Hotel Chamois.

In addition, the French authorities also evacuated 17 people by the side of Porte-Puymorens. Nowadays, French and Andorran teams collaborate in cleaning the road from the Pas de la Casa and Porte-Puymorens.
