The sales will begin the third Friday of June and the third Friday of December
The Government has approved the amendment of the decree regulating the timing of the shop sales, with the aim of giving it continuity and provide more guarantees for traders. Thus, the decree regulates a general date of commencement of sales, which will allow the government not to have to set an annual calendar for this purpose and at the same time, help the sector to optimize campaigns.
So the majority approval establishes the following regulation: in summer period, the beginning of the sales will be the third Friday of the month of June, while in the winter months the start of the sales will be the third Friday of December. The length of the sales will be three months from the start date of the general during the sales. The decree provides for an additional period for private sales. As regards private sales, these will take place during the 4 days prior to the start of the general sales.
