First commercial flights at the airport of La Seu – Andorra

The Airport of La Seu has confirmed the first commercial flights for this summer by a local company. The travel agency Regina, has hired four aircrafts charter to connect the Pyrenees with Mallorca and Madrid.

The company plans to offer four flights of between 40 and 45 seats each, between the second half of July and early August, with departures every week, according to the newspaper Segre. They are designed both for customers from the islands or from the Spanish capital that want to come into the Pyrenees. In addition, with respect to the second option, Tourism Headquarters is preparing tour packages aimed at travelers from far lands in the region.

So far, from Catalonia Airports do not foresee the arrival of more commercial flights to the track of the Alt Urgell. The aerial activity is focused for now on occasional charter and air taxi operations, apart from the usual private aviation.

Current rates of airport / So far there are taxes (excluding VAT) established the website of the airport, although these may vary. Rates available for public facilities / premises are 6 euros for a landing MTOW 10 euros per passenger exit, 9 euros for PMR and 58 cents for each passenger safety AESA.
