Learn what it means to play rugby at school

Rugby is a sport deeply rooted in some countries, but in others their presence is merely anecdotal. The world federation is aware of this, and in this sense it works to increase the knowledge about rugby around the world, starting with the youngest. In Andorra a program to develop it also launched.

“Get into Rugby” is an initiative from the World Rugby in which invites the European federations to implement into primary and secondary schools the education of sports among his students, without differentiating between boys and girls. And Andorra is part of the project, which currently involves forty of the 49 federations of the Old Continent. "Two years ago Rugby World saw that many countries had very good initiatives but not coordinated globally," says Jose Miguel Gorrotxategi, so they took the initiative "with a strong focus on providing the values that adds through education."

The intent of the program is to "stop being afraid rugby", both the children themselves and parents, because "part of this sport can do wonders for your son to learn such important values like sacrifice, honesty and friendship. " Because despite the blows received, it is not a violent discipline "if a child gets hurt through play is good. It is the evolution of humans. Has to face difficulties and overcome them.
