The Government adopts a strategy of vaccinating pregnant women

The decision has been adopted in accordance with the recommendations of the Advisory Council of infectious disease, this time has had representation of gynecologists and pediatricians. Vaccines recommended for pregnant women are the flu vaccine and pertussis vaccine. For those pregnant women who do not have proper immunity against tetanus is also indicated the rubella vaccination during pregnancy. The vaccination strategy for this group, which has been approved by the government and that starts from the moment of approval, provides the administration of these vaccines completely free for pregnant women.
