ANDORRA 500 From 04/06/2015 a 07/06/2015
Cyril Despres’s passion for motorcycles as the five times winner of the Rally Dakar is behind this regularity rally for classic road motorcycles that will be held in the coming June 2015 in Andorra. For Despres the event is a form of giving something back to a sport that has given him so much and a way to maintain a physical and direct bond with the world of two wheels.
Over the three and a half days of the trial, the participants will travel 500 kilometres in three stages that will start in Ordino, the rally base. The route is planned to show everything Andorra can offer in terms of scenery, roads and gastronomy. The competitive touch of the Andorra 500 will be the “regularity”. Participants will have to maintain an average speed on closed roads, which will be controlled with the Tripy navigation system fitted on each motorcycle.
The Andorra 500 is open to all kinds of categories, from “pre-war motorcycles” to the 80s at the latest. There will also be a place for fanatics of modified machines, café-racers, bobbers, neo-retro, etc.
Throughout the rally, there will be a series of activities around the village in Ordino, with live music, presentations, evening barbecue and a gala dinner for the prize-giving.
Place: Ordino, 4 to 7 June 2015
