SAFETY TIPS FOR SANT JOAN

Do not store firecrackers in your pockets.

  1. Never fire a firecracker from your own hand. Lit it in the ground, igniting the wick and quickly get away because you have between 6 and 12 seconds before they explode.

  2. Watch out for the forest. It is forbidden to throw fire rockets or ignite fireworks within 500 meters of a forest.

  3. Collect any hanging clothes from outside that might be drying, as any spark could ignite them.

  4. If a firecracker does not explode after lighting it, forget about it at least for half an hour.
