Jazz will faithfully be setting up in Plaça Coprínceps with styles and sounds for all tastes.
PROGRAM Monday 6/07 - Erwyn Seerutton “Jazz Kréol”. “Jazz Kréol”, a musical mix in the world of Jazz: blues, gospel and creole culture... Tuesday 7/07 – Nightbirds. A new view of Cole Porter’s compositions: US soundtrack from the early 20th century. Wednesday 8/07 - Dixieland All Stars. Renowned musicians from different Catalan Jazz bands. A band that specialises in performing classical jazz. Thursday 9/07 - Carme Canela & Joan Monné Trio. A repertoire around the songbook of American standards of authors of the like of Kurt Weill, Thelonious Monk and Gershwin. Fridays 10/07 - Platano Manush. A gypsy jazz band: 3 young performers of the new musical stage emerging in Barcelona.
In Plaça Coprínceps d’Escaldes-Engordany, from Monday 6 to Friday 10 July 2015 at 7 p.m. Free entrance.
