Andorran neighbour arrested with 10,000 packets of contraband tobacco.

The Civil Guard arrested a man of Portuguese nationality and resident of Andorra with 9,980 contraband tobacco packages valued at 41 936 euros. The arrest occurred when officers were doing surveillance on the road C-14, and noticed at the height of Oliana a Ford Mondeo circulitaing without seats in the rear. The driver ignored the signs for agents to stop and fled. After a few minutes of pursuit, the driver stopped on the roadside and was arrested. At the rear of the vehicle were found boxes containing blond tobacco smuggling of various brands.
