LA VUELTA 2015

For the first time in the history of “La Vuelta”, one stage will be held entirely on Andorran territory. On 2 September, the Principality will host one of the top stages of the cycle race, the 11th stage with a distance of 138 km, an accumulated height difference of 5,230 m, and which will pass through all of the parishes, starting from the Parc Central in Andorra la Vella, and finishing in els Cortals in Encamp.

The caravan of the 70th edition of “la Vuelta “ will spend three days and three nights in Andorra, from 31 August until the start of the 12th stage: Escaldes-Engordany/Andorra – Lleida, on 3 September. Three days in which cycle lovers can enjoy all of the atmosphere surrounding a great cycle race in stages, the proximity of the best cyclists on the world tour and the tough day the riders will spend on the roads and mountain passes of Andorra, which is sure to form part of the race’s future.
