ROADS RESTRICTIONS DURING LA ETAPA DE LA VUELTA CICLISTA A ESPAÑA

Traffic Restrictions Notice

Due to the hosting of “Vuelta ciclista a España“ 2015 by Principality of Andorra, traffic restrictions will be applied on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of September.

Wednesday, 2nd of September: Stage Andorra la Vella – Els Cortals d’Encamp

Traffic restrictions will be applied in each of the following places when cyclists will approach them: Central parc of Andorra la Vella, CG-1, Tarragona Av., Baixada del Molí St., Prat de la Creu St., Dr. Vilanova Str., Rebés square, Meritxell Av., Escaldes-Engordany, Carlemany Av., Pont de la Tosca Av., CG-2, Encamp, la Bartra Av., CS-210, passageway Antic camí d’Escaldes, les Riberaigües road, Vila road, CS-310, Beixalís road, Anyós, CG-3, La Massana, St. Antoni Av., Del Ravell Av., Del través Av., Ordino, pont d’Ordino Av., el Casamanya Av., CS-340, Coll d’Ordino road, CS-240, Montaup road, Canillo, CG-2, St. Joan de Caselles Av., Encamp, la Bartra Av., Escaldes- Engordany, CG-1, l’Obac road, Andorra la Vella, Tarragona Av., Salou Av., Pobladó St., la Margineda roundabout, Sant Julià de Lòria, Verge de Canòlich Av., Laurèdia square, CS-130, la Rabassa road, Auvinyà, Juberri, CS-131, la Peguera road, Aixirivall, Laurèdia square, CG-1, Francesc Cairat Av., CS-140, Fontaneda road, CS-142, Canòlich road, CS-600, Bixessarri, CG-6, Aixovall, CG-1, la Margineda roundabout, Andorra la Vella Pobladó St., Salou Av., CS-101, la Comella road, CS-200, Escaldes- Engordany, Engolasters road, CG-2, Encamp, la Bartra Av., Joan Martí Av., François Miterrand Av., CG-2, CS-220 els Cortals road in Encamp.

Estimated time of arrival for the first riders at the following places is as follows:

At 1:22pm departure from the CG-1 in Tarragona Av.; at 1:37pm in Vila; at 1:47pm in l’alt de Beixalís; at 2pm in Anyós; at 2:06 in La Massana; at 2:10pm in Ordino; at 2:28pm in l’alt del coll d’Ordino; at 2:44pm in Canillo; at 3:04pm in Andorra la Vella (CG1); at 3:15pm in Sant Julià de Lòria; at 3:40pm in l’alt de la Rabassa; at 3:59pm in Aixirivall; at 4:05pm in Sant Julià de Lòria; at 4:17pm in Fontaneda; at 4:29pm in l’alt de la Gallina; at 4:43pm in Bixessarri; at 4:57pm in Andorra la Vella; at 5:07pm on l’alt de la Comella; at 5:22pm in Encamp; at 5:40pm arrival at els Cortals of Encamp.

Traffic will be closed to vehicles when Leading Police Car with red flags will pass through the place, and will be open when Motorcycle with green flags will pass.

We recommend all the drivers willing to travel within the country going to Spain or to France on September 2nd to take into account mentioned traffic restrictions.

Regardless of these predictions, depending on the evolution of the race and the car affluence at the last stages of the competition, Police will close the roads to the traffic and adopt needed measures at any time in order to guarantee the safety of all parties.

Advert convoy will depart around 11:30 am and will drive through the following route: Central parc of Andorra la Vella, CG-1, Tarragona Av., Baixada del Molí St., Prat de la Creu St., Dr. Vilanova St., Rebés square, Meritxell Av., Escaldes-Engordany, Carlemany Av., Pont de la Tosca Av., CG-2, tunnel dels 2 Valires, La Massana, St. Antoni Av., El Ravell Av., El Través Av., Ordino, El pont d’Ordino Av., del Casamanya Av., CS-340, Coll d’Ordino road, CS-240, Montaup road, Canillo, CG-2, St. Joan de Caselles Av., Encamp, François Miterrand Av., Joan Martí Av., la Bartra Av., Escaldes- Engordany, CG-1, l’Obac road, Andorra la Vella, Tarragona Av., Salou Av., Pobladó St., la Margineda roundabout, Sant Julià de Lòria, tunnel of la Tàpia, Francesc Cairat Av., Verge de Canòlich Av., CG-1, la Margineda roundabout, Santa Coloma, Enclar Av., Santa Coloma Av., Andorra la Vella, Príncep Benlloch Av., Meritxell Av., Prat de la Creu St.,Central parc.

Thursday, 3rd of September: Stage Escaldes-Engordany - Lleida

Traffic restrictions will be applied in each of the following roads when cyclists will approach them: Escaldes-Engordany, Els Veedors St., Els Paraires St., Consell de la Terra Av., la Unió road, CG-1, Andorra la Vella, l’Obac road, Tarragona Av., Salou Av., Pobladó St., la Margineda roundabout, Sant Julià de Lòria, tunnel of la Tapia, Francesc Cairat Av., Spanish-Andorran border.

Departure of the cyclists is forecasted for 1:20pm from the Els Veedors road, passing through the Spanish-Andorran border at 1:27 pm.

We recommend to the drivers willing to drive through the places were the race is taking place, to do so before 1pm or after 1:30pm.
