A FOREIGN INVESTOR GROUP IS INTERESTED TO ACQUIRE VALL BANC.

CLW Capital, a company based in Jersey and London and is associated with theBritish investment bank Salamanca Group, is interested in participating in the auction of Vall Bank. One of their representatives Lladós Joseph explained that the group is on the list of foreign investors that could apply for the sale of the entity.

For Lladós, the new entity arising from the bank bonus BPA should be formed by Andorran capital and for foreign investors. In addition, not only should focus on private banking but also should be a bank that is dedicated to economic restructuring and regional development. In this regard indicated that Andorran companies can help to boost the less developed areas of the environment, such as Pallars. He finally stated that the new entity must, apart from being established in the Principality also has presence in other financial centers such as Madrid and London.

Lladós noted that during the months of April and May US investors held meetings with Andorran banks and other contacts to BPA. Since then he has follow up this visit with contacts with the Foreign Minister, the Finance AREB and the episcopal Co-Prince. The group, however, is waiting to receive more detailed documentation on that BPA Key Capital Partners (the company who commissioned the AREB finding potential buyers) is developing. As soon as the list is transferred to the investors and will raise banks Andorran a possible partnership.

Lladós stated that it is important that the model adopted for the new entity to help innovate and also respect the interests of employees and investors. In this regard stated that if things are done well there should be no loss to the parties involved and reminded investors that the United States already have a similar experience with a Swiss bank.

The group is also interested in developing the Pyrenees other investments, such as installing an airline Airport Headquarters which is now preparing the business plan and where there is also involved Air Andorra, a project to build golf courses in Pallars and the opening of a center for attracting high marks in Andorra.
