Andorra UNICEF expects to raise more than € 30,000 with this years Flea Market.

The funds raised will go entirely to the project that since 2007 Unicef maintains at the Congo to improve access to basic services for indigenous people.


This year, UNICEF Andorra has launched a new edition of the Flea Market, a charity project with the sale of first and second hand products, aims to raise funds to finance the projects undertaken by the NGO during the whole year. Thus, even stress that sales forecasts "always associated with the amount of products that are given both by companies and individuals," the director of UNICEF Andorra, Marta Alberch, was optimistic and said that the 32,000 euros that were collected during last year's "would be a very good achievement."

The new market this year will be opened from Thursday afternoon until December 18.


As for other developments, the director of UNICEF Andorra stressed that unlike other years, the Flea Market will also open on Saturdays and will also offer a delivery service to transfer large purchases .


As regards to the supplies this year Alberch explained that "anything can be found at very attractive prices" and added that "we always try to offer something new" and therefore in the market for this year you can find restored furniture like a nineteeth century table. Finally, Alberch wanted to emphasize that without the involvement of all partners, which currently stands at one hundred companies and individuals, "the market would not be possible."
