CHRISTMAS IN ENCAMP From 01/12/2015 to 05/01/2016

Advent Calendar From 1 to 24 December, every evening at 6 p.m., the Calendar in the Plaça del Consell will open one of its windows to give the presents with sweets and to remind the youngest that every day that passes is one day closer to Christmas.

Santa Llúcia Fair Carrer Major in Encamp will be staging this traditional market which has a clear supportive tone so that everyone who buys a raffle ticket for several food baskets will be collecting money to give the charity events related to children. This is also a good chance to get ideas for gifts among the stalls of jewels, fashion jewellery, clothes, paintings, flowers, books and Christmas ornaments. The Santa Llúcia Market will be held on Saturday 13 December from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in carrer Major d'Encamp.

Father Christmas’s Visit On 24 December he will parade the streets of the villages of Encamp and del Pas de la Casa. In el Pas he will arrive at the festival hall (at 8 p.m.) and in Encamp he will be in Plaça dels Arínsols (at 6 p.m.) to collect the letters with the gifts the children have dreamt of.

Midnight Mass

On Christmas Eve, the traditional Midnight Mass will be held at the church of Sant Pere in el Pas de la Casa at 7.30 p.m. and at midnight in the parish church of Santa Eulàlia in Encamp. There will be cake, chocolate and hot wine for all those attending after the mass.

24th Infancy and Youth Show The 24th edition of Andorra’s Infancy and Youth Show will be opening its doors once more.

In Encamp from 27 December 2015 to 1 January 2016, at the Sports and Sociocultural Complex, and in el Pas de la Casa from 3 to 5 January 2015, at the Sports Centre.
