PARADE OF THE THREE KINGS The 05/01/2016

The long expected meeting of the children with the Three Kings from the East, Melcior, Gaspar and Baltasar, will be come in the evening of 5 January 2016.

Follow the royal parades in the Principality:

Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany

Monday 4 January at 6 p.m., the Royal Page will announce the arrival of the three kings along the route of the joint royal parade for Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra la Vella.

On the 5th at midday, the Royal Postman will collect the children’s letters in the Plaça Coprínceps in Escaldes-Engordany.

From 6 p.m. on the same day, the Three Magi from the East will parade through the streets and squares of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany.

This year’s parade will start in Pl. Guillemó in Andorra la Vella and end in Plaça Coprínceps in Escaldes-Engordany, and will pass through Av. Príncep Benlloch, Av. Meritxell, Av. Carlemany, Pl. de l’Església, c. Santa Anna and c. del Prat Gran. When it arrives at Pl. Coprínceps , at around 8.30 p.m., the kings will collect the letters from the children there.

Canillo The parade in the parish of Canillo will start at 6 p.m.. After a parade on horseback through the village streets, the Royal cortege will come to the Palau de Gel.

Ordino The Magi will be arriving at the Plaça Major at 7 p.m. After the performance of Els Pastorets by the parish children at the ACCO (Andorra Ordino Congress Centre), there will be cake and chocolate for everyone in the square.

La Massana The parade of the Three Kings from the East will start at 5 p.m. and go through the town streets to the Plaça de les Fontetes.

Encamp and Pas de la Casa In Encamp the Kings will arrive on floats at the Plaça dels Arínsols at 6 p.m. after a parade through the town streets.

In El Pas de la Casa they will arrive at the village Sports Centre by 4x4, after a torchlight descent of the ski slopes, which will start at 8 p.m.

Sant Julià de Lòria From 28 December to 4 January, the Royal Page’s post-box will be set up in the lobby of the Centre Cultural i de Congressos Laurèdia.

On the eve of kings’ day at 6 p.m., their Majesties from the East will worship the child Jesus in front of the Casa Comuna and will go to the Centre Cultural i de Congressos to collect the letters from the post-box and others that the children will give them.
